1. Ramblings

First of all I want to thank Jeff, the former owner of Delicious Low Fat Recipes for the nice introduction he gave me. I wish him the very best for his new venture.

If you haven't seen any new Low Fat Recipes, please don't be disappointed. I was tied up with all the administrative work that taking over a site means.

My boyfriend who loves to cook has already tried some new low fat recipes, and we are excited to put them on the site next year, once the Christmas rush is over and life has gone back to normal.

By the way, if you've read my Strawberry recipes website then you know that I'm not the great cook, my job is to do the eating :-)

We are really enthusiastic about bringing you new and diverse low fat recipes (and eating them, especially after all the high fat things we'll be eating during the holidays.)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You and Your Family!

2. Christmas Punch Recipe

This is my favorite Christmas Punch Recipes. Off course, it's with Strawberries, but you can replace them for other fruits like oranges, pineapples or peaches.

If you're on a low sugar diet, replace the sugar with sweetener.

Holiday Strawberry Punch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups Strawberry wine
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, crushed
- 1 quart seltzer

For Kids substitute the Strawberry wine with Strawberry juice.
Mix sugar with water and boil to make syrup. Let cool down. Combine syrup with strawberry wine, juices, and crushed strawberries.
Chill. Just before serving, pour into punch bowl and slowly add seltzer.
