2. Low Fat Skillet Spaghetti
Makes 6 servings
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1/2 cup bell peppers
- 15 ounzes tomato sauce
- 4 cups water
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 8 ounces thin spaghetti
- 1/2 cup fat-free cheddar cheese
Shred cheddar cheese and chop onions and bell peppers.
Heat oil in a 12 inch pan over medium heat. Add turkey, onions, and bell peppers.
Cook until turkey is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
Stir in water, tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Bring to a boil.
Add the uncooked spaghetti. Reduce heat, cover, and
simmer until spaghetti is tender, about 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
